Winner-Winner, Chicken Dinner!

"Antihero" took home the award for Best Feature, from the Columbia Gorge International Film Fest.
:woohoo:

Also, over the weekend, I started an "event" page, for our next public screening (but it was erased by the server crash). We got into the SoCal Film Fest, and will screen in Huntington Beach, CA, on Sat., Oct. 1st. As we near the screening date, I'll start a proper "event" page, with all the details on which theater, etc. As of now, I'm not 100% sure, but I think I'll be able to attend that one.

Good job Cracker! I always believed in this one.

I'll try to make it out to the SoCal screening, maybe we can grab a burger while you're out here if you're not too tightly scheduled.

Thanks, ya'll!

Nate, if I'm able to attend, I can't imagine my schedule would be anything even remotely resembling tightly-scheduled. At Columbia Gorge, last week, it was all about my family (whom I hadn't seen in two years). Last week, my schedule wasn't tightly-scheduled, it was family-scheduled.

I don't have any family in SoCal. And I think I'd really enjoy experiencing a full festival, watching a whole bunch of other films, panel discussions, and such. And, of course more than anything, I'd like to meet and network with fellow filmmakers, so hells yeah, I'd definitely mark a burger-date with you on my calendar.

gelder, yes, this was the first fest it was accepted into. And I highly recommend them, not just because I'm obviously now biased. The more you learn about Angaelica, and the people who run it (namely, Breven Warren), it's pretty much impossible not to love them.

harmonica44, I have absolutely NO CLUE how to win awards. With this movie, all I did was try my best to make a movie that I, myself, would enjoy watching. Plus, it's worth mentioning that this film has been taking festival rejections left and right. So, apparently, not everybody enjoys watching the same things I do! I'm just glad that somebody finally gets it! :D
