Hey everyone,
I am new to this so please bear with me. I have recently got into filming and have been making it a point to take my video camera around everywhere I go. I have done a bit of filming and placed the clips on my blog. I realise that I have a lot to learn and hopefully a site such as this will give me useful tips and ideas which will go a long way in helping me improve my filming.

welcome to the boards! I checked out the video on your blog, it was interesting.

If you are into doing documentary style work, I'd recommend getting some kind of shoulder mount steadycam/glidecam device. The footage was a bit hard to watch with all the shaking, which is a shame because it looked really beautiful and an interesting place.
