A more robust Ignore List

Any chance the current Ignore List could be updated with more utility?

Specifically... Thread Starters on my Ignore List should not appear on the Homepage, which lists the last 20 most Recent Posts, at all. The current implementation only blocks them in a Reply.

The site is still due for an overhaul and that will be updated. The problem is the stability of the new system once beta testing is done you will know it! :) Thanks

Zen do they show up when you click the New Posts?

If not then it's just the homepage and I should be able to fix that tomorrow.

Off topic - a bit.

I don't know how I feel about ignoring anyone. There is a person
here who I ignore. In a way it would be nice to just not see any
threads started by this person at all. On the other hand, even
though I do not respond and rarely even look at the thread I am
amazed and intrigued by how many people still reply and how big
the threads get. If I used ignore I would never know.

Head in sand? Or annoyed that others don't share my feeling on
this person?

It's more about usability & personal comfort, imo. Not about what others think... and for sure, others have a great time no doubt, and if that's what they enjoy then more power to them.

I'd just like to come to the Home Page in the morning, and not see 20% to 50% of the immediately available material on the forum initiated by someone whose poasts I'm not interested in.

Let me find the posts I want to be involved with, without having to put my hip-highs on. :yes:
 
That's an excellent point.

I suspect I would be more comfortable just never seeing
posts from that person. I mean, really, do I have to look
at the window at the accident? I kinda want to, but do I
need to?
