Sell your DVD/VHS at the JDP online indy film store

This is an announcement to let everyone know that I am opening up the Jolliff Digital Production (JDP) online film store to any who wish to sell their films in such a way. I currently sell a couple of films that I was a part of and a couple of other films that I had seen and wanted to provide...

    A Rob Zombie Film????

...and looking at IMDbPro, it looks like the film was made for $7M and grossed $12.6M at the box office alone. That doesn't include DVD sales. Even though it may have been a bad film, it still made double it's money and probably more (DVD sales) by now. Money talks.

view trailer for September, a new drama based on 9/11

Not sure if you're aware of this or not. But on this page (http://www.lighthouseltdpictures.com/septembermedia.html) the "TRAILER PC" text goes to two different hyperlinks. "TRAILER" goes to trailer3.mov and "PC" goes to trailer.mov (which I couldn't play). Just a heads up...

I remember listening to the commentary for Boondock Saints. I don't remember him being rude. I seem to remember enjoying it. This is interesting though. I'd like to check it out. Thanks for sharing.

    Our first shoot

No unfortunately I don't. The cheapest one that I have heard of is about $1,500 that an associate of mine just purchase. Pretty simple design, no bells and whistles or anything.

    Our first shoot

I'm glad things went so well for you. I strongly believe that a positive attitude reaps positive results. Keep a positive attitude! Oh yeah, and keep planning well also. And by the way, there are DV "VCRs" out there. Unless I misunderstood what you were saying. Basically Mini DV decks that...

I dunno...just more visuals. Like you other 3 films. Can those be uploaded for viewing? Maybe some more production stills as well rather than just 10 photos of what looks like the same fight scene. I signed up for you newsletter. YMLP is great, that's who I use. Feel free to join mine as well.

    the internet is changing film

I agree that something is lost when watching movies on a computer monitor. It just does not have the same magic as the "movie night" feel of the living room. Although, I have seen the counter of this at a buddy-of-mines house not too long ago. He had a Microsoft Media Manager system (or...

    Good News

Nice website. The photos are pretty cool too with easy navigation...that's ALWAYS nice. I watched the trailer for Night Is Day and I must comment on one thing. It seems a little silly to tout the "Dolby Digital" title isn't it? That's kinda like motels advertising on their signs, "COLOR TV"...

    Photo's of past work

Wow, man! Really small pics. I looked at 3 and lost interest because I couldn't tell what I was looking at. If you are serious about "marketing" your work or films, you should invest in web design and make it easier and more asthetically pleasing for people to look at.

I guess that I would have to say that while the layout is decent, it kinda uneventful. Not much to look at. I guess I expect more visuals from a filmmaking website. You've got a few pics on there and like 2 "pre-production" videos but...it would be nice to see more visual variety on there.
