Thanks. I haven't been shooting as much commercial stuff since the bottom fell out of the TV commercial business in 2008 and my marketing person has mostly retired.

You just prompted me to check my revenue report for last year. Revenue on video work was $3988 with expenses of $1319. Good thing I don't rely on that for groceries!

Chris Stuckman coming out as a ex Jehovah witness is one of the most brave tings I have seen.

Why? I know lots of ex-Catholics, and a good friend is an ex-Mormon. What's the issue?

He will lose all of its old friends and most of its family. I have a friend that goes to a similar experience. Now I understand her better.
I got accepted to NYU Tisch for Film and Television Production. I'm very happy about it and I'm very excited to go study there.

Thank you!!! :)
The new Roy Anderson About Endlessness....is not a movie... No structure, no story, no characters, and no overall theme. So strange to watch a film maker go deeper and deeper with his movies to abstraction.

Did you like it? Recommend it?

I love Roy Anderson work and he is one of the people that inspired me to go into film . About Endlessness is his first movie that made me feel bored. Some scenes would have been better if he made individual long takes for a museum. Just like a moving painting or installation piece.
When one character is talking to a specific character within a group. How is that done?
On another forum it was suggested to be done like this.

John

What are you drinking?

That seems awkward and like too many spaces to me.

Appreciate any advice
Oh a motorcycle guy :) I used to have a yamaha fz6 a few years back but it gets so cold in the winter and none of my friends rode.

I happen to know it like the back of my hand... I love it when there's a herd of Elk in the middle of the highway and the factory riders are picking their way through them and I just motor past... They try to keep up but their FEAR just won't let them keep up.

After 20 or so miles, I'll stop at one of those previously mentioned stores, get something to drink. Eventually, the factory riders -- outfit on full factory rides complete with leathers -- pull in and buy a drink too. We all park next to each other and they check my bike out very closely. It's just an old Buell XB12R Firebolt with a race kit.

It's fast but not as fast as their bikes. But for the Gila? It's like they built the damn thing JUST for riding it.

We all sit around and drink sodas... Eventually upgrade to beer and people begin to tell me HOW FUCKING CRAZY I AM.

Love it. That's the way I wanna go to be honest.
Who greenlit peppermint? LOL Jennifer Garner as an action hero has been a joke since elektra.
Have any of you ever had to indicate that a character is looking through a peephole? I just put PEEPHOLE POV., and then described whats happening on the other side of the door. Is there a better way?

Sorry if you've seen this question already. Still learning how to use the site.
Finishing the outline for a feature screenplay - first time I've been hired to write a horror. I'm enjoying it more than I expected :)

The Holiday is one of my favorite movies, even though in some ways it's 2 movies stapled together :)

That's what I like about "The Holiday," the contrasts and similarities between the two women. Meyers perspective make it fresh. And that's what appeals to me.

My favorite love story, however, is the one between Iris and Arthur, who helps her to heal, then she in turn helps to heal Arthur.

Yes! Absolutely - the love story between Iris & Arthur is wonderful, especially since I've always liked Eli Wallach.
Amazon had 1 "used - very good condition" $600 haze machine listed at $175! It will be mine, oh yes... it will be mine.
