What are you working on?

Oh, and I leveled up in my day job. I am no longer receptionist, I am now Ebilling Analyst. A bit more money, crazy more work. Not sure I made the right move, but they wanted me. If I cared about a career, it's a huge leap (2 paygrades), but it's just a day-job to me. My boss is now a musician who likes low-budget horror, so at least we get along.

I have many projects in varios stages of developemnet and pre-production. I also work on other peoples projects such as this last week (fri-mon) was gaffer on my first SAG project, BAIL OUT, (Bailouttv.com or on facebook). I have worked on two previous episodes not on their website yet. Previously Burton Gilliam and Marshall Teague are regulars. Marshall was also on this episode along with guest star Lorenzo Lamas. This set was one of the best I have worked on, with people (for the most part) knowing that has to be done and everything running pretty smooth.

- Preparing to shoot a couple of shorts
- Prepping to shoot a feature at the end of the year.

- Dolly on Budget Short (Also shoots next month [rip free time])

Finishing editing a pretty beefy short film.
DPing on a feature documentary.
Writing a short film.
PrePro on a short I'll be directing.

Wow, really cool to hear about all the creative things people in this community are up to. Keep it up, guys!

I'm finally doing something that I've wanted to do for ages--working on my first feature-length film. I've done quite a few shorts and now I'm finally taking that big leap. I'm producing, my best friend is directing, and we've got a great team of people from all across the country helping us out.

I'm pretty psyched about the project if you can't tell. I think we've got a really good screenplay, great crew, great actors. We just launched our Kickstarter to get funding. It's a micro budget production, so we're not looking for a lot, but it'll still be a challenge to reach the goal. We've got a pretty cool trailer on the Kickstarter page if ya wanna take a peak.

Good luck to everyone with their projects!

I am releasing my last short film publically online on Friday (Elsewhere). Here is a trailer https://youtu.be/1SlmJ5fOlU8

I am finishing up casting my directorial feature film debut that I wrote and will star in. My producer and I are finishing up our business plan too. Things are going pretty good on that front.

I am attempting to do a six part mini web series. But right now I am in Maryland and I am having a hard time finding talent. I am working on creating a film society here as well. I was going to do it at the library. But they were against me charging $5 a ticket.

Last week I was shooting for a crowdfunding video for one of my clients.
They have a great product and seek to raise money to take it to a next level. A nice challenge to create a compelling video that moves people to support their campaign. (In the end this will be 3 seperate videos.)

I finally started writing a script (in English) that is actually formatted.
It is an idea I've been writing down notes for for the past 10 years, so it is about time to see how it all comes together.

Right? I actually did the same this month. Been siting on an idea for years and finally wrote it all done. It's kind of a revitalizing thing. I couldn't stop thinking about it once the ball got rolling. I hope you luck in yours Walter.

That brings me to my "What are you working on?" Update.

- Key Grip on Budget Short (Shoots next month) [Post-Production]
- Dolly on Budget Short (Also shoots next month [rip free time]) [Post-Production]
- Pre-production of my budgeted meta short [Still in Pre-Production]

Since that last post I was hired to Best Boy Grip on a festival project, it shot the same month as those other two (it was a hellish month for me). It's a project that I had some creative lighting input on, I'm senior to the crew that hired me so I was kind of a resource for them in terms of lighting. I might share it here?

This month I'm directing on a parody commercial (the project I wanted to do for years) and excited to say my DP is an Award Winning Cinematographer and we'll be shooting 6K on the RED Weapon.

My meta short is still in pre-production, but will be shot next month.

I did a schedule analysis and estimation .. . my crime thriller web series won't finish production until 2017... if it finishes at all. That long of a timeline i wont be surprised if our lead actor gets famous and abandons our project.

I don't want to wait a whole year without releasing something.
I'm going to chop out some scenes and release them as mini stories this year.. should be a fun thing t do. i have some really cool footage thats just sitting around gathering dust.

also came up with a satisfying ending to my psychological horror film.

this will be a cool next couple of months for me!
editing crime thriller stuff to release, filming new stuff at the same time, awaiting composer for vampire lestat

I'll have a lot more content this year than ever before!
I have some momentum and I'm getting the hang of this.
