Still surprised that after all the dead giveaways (at least I thought they were) nobody figured this one out.
So here's another from the same film. Someone has to have seen this movie.
Based on your clues (Russell Brand, married in India, and Christina Ricci, starred in Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain which is based in Alabama), I'm going with Penelope. And after looking at the photos on IMDb (particularly this one), I am sure of it.

But the Alabama reference was actually for Sweet Home Alabama in which Reese Witherspoon (who not only had a role in Penelope, she was also a producer) starred. Guess that one was a little too vague. Good making the connection to Gold Diggers, though. Whatever gets you to the end of the maze.
And the other movie reference was Beetlejuice (say his name three times) which had both Cristina Ricci and Catherine O'Hara.

What part of Avatar is this? I don't remember it, but I only saw it once.
Im almost positive Beetlejuice didnt have Ricci. Maybe ur confusing her with Ryder?
Not wanting to make excuses but I did think of Beetlejuice but couldn't link that clue to Russell Brand... all the same, a good fun clue

I didn't even see the BEETLEJUICE clue. And I originally thought of SWEET HOME ALABAMA because I was thinking Ricci played the role of the mother with the baby in the bar, but that was Melanie Lynskey.

"Avatar" is correct. It's in the beginning of the movie. Jake is having his brother cremated, while those dudes recruit him. I put it on there for JakeSully. I'm still waiting on some kind of evidence of proof of his Avatardation. I'm skeptical.

Ha, I'm no avatard Cracker! I had just seen the movie, and was caught up in the blue hype! I like the movie and everything, but after getting all the "beauiful CGI" out of my system...the magic was gone, it was an OK movie...

I liked it a lot the first time, but I'm waiting for a 3D re-realease. It's one of thos movies that HAS to be watced in 3d, no matter how much I despise the technology.
