inexpensive dslr shouldermount

i'm shooting a music video on the 25th and i rented a canon 5d for it. i want to use a shouldermount to stabilize. anyone know of any inexpensive one? perferably ones that would work with the t2i as well

Unfortunately the answer is that inexpensive DSLR rigs don't really exist. They all cost a fortune. You're probably better off renting that as well.

Alternatively there may be some DIY solutions knocking about...

I've seen some riflestock type stabilizers on eBay for under $50, haven't used them.

I've used the Pro-Aim ones and Redrock. Obviously redrock was better, but that's not to say the Pro-Aim was terrible. The fittings get a little loose on it after a lot of use, but it does the job.

CPMfilmtools.com are an advertiser here and they seem to have good prices as well as an indietalk discount. Look at the banner up top.
