Hello.

My name is Rory, I live currently in Austin but grew up just outside L.A. I'm mainly a writer but plan to eventually direct a few of my own scripts. I write shorts and novels as well, nothing published yet. Really excited to have found this forum, I have been looking for one like it for a while now but somehow missed it in my searches till recently.

I look forward to getting to know everyone, this looks like an awesome site.

Hi, hey, howdy - it all depends upon which part of the south you're from.

In "da Bronx" it's "werd dawg" (word dog). In Queens it's " 'sup". In Brooklyn it's "yo". In Staten Island it's "whaddup". In Manhattan they just ignore you until you've been there for a while, then they kind of grunt.

Here in south western Connecticut it's "hahyadoon" (how are you doing) or "guddameetcha" (good to meet you).
