Saw it last night, in 2D. Not bad, pretty much what I expected.

Yet another 3D film that didn't need to be 3D. I wish Hollywood would end this obsession with adding 3D after the fact.

As soon as you (and everyone else) stop paying to see 3D added after
the shoot Hollywood will end its obsession.

I really liked the film. Never been a Cap fan nor a Johnston fan. This
was one fun time at the movies.

I found it dull throughout. Nothing to keep me engaged, and Red Skull was under-used, or rather misused. He was a generic villain. The film had so much potential, it just felt like a filler before the ultimate Avengers movie arrives.

I will say though that Chris Evans was good as America, and that I look forward to seeing him again.

Trailer looks like a pretty generic dumb action movie, fwiw. Not terribly excited about this to start with.

Imho, that's what it was.

I had the same expectations but i expected at least the action sequences to be cool, which they were not.
