What are you listening to right NOW!

This song kills me everything I hear it, and I've heard it a lot.

The changing of sunlight to moonlight
Reflections of my life
Oh, how they fill my eyes
The greetings of people in trouble
Reflections of my life
Oh, how they fill my eyes
Oh, my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home
Oh, my crying (Oh, my crying)
Feel I'm dying, dying
Take me back to my own home
I'm changing, arranging
I'm changing
I'm changing everything
Everything around me
The world is
A bad place
A bad place
A terrible place to live
Oh, but I don't want to die
Oh, my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home
Oh, my crying (Oh, my crying)
Feel I'm dying, dying
Take me back to my own home
Oh, my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home

I loved that song when I was a little kid. Learned to play it in my first garage band, lol. Not a lyrical masterwork by any means, but I still like the basic powerchord riff. I'll skip an in depth analysis of the storyline, I think that's for the best. For future music authors, please consider looking beyond doublemint gum commercials and gross stories from your bachelor party for lyrical ideas.

You know Nelson was on this same soundtrack. When I was younger and working at a guitar store, the Nelson brothers came in and asked if they could buy two bottom end acoustic guitars. They were particularly interested in the return policy, and asked outright if the guitars could be returned the next day after their local gig, if they were in good shape. We sold them the guitars, a couple of $150 dollar fender starter guitars, and sure enough, they came in and returned them the next day. They say to never meet your heroes, but I think that's short sighted. Sometimes it can be equally lame to meet people that were never your heroes.

Not my usual thing. But damn, it funky. And Groovy. It has a pretty cool bassline. I recently got a bass guitar. Just a Squire. Don't hate. No really, it's a pretty sweet guitar, in the eyes of this dilettante, anyway. So who knows, maybe someday I'll learn this bassline. Yeah. Could happen. I already know the Money basic line. Only the basic line, mind you, and I'm crap at playing it, but you never know. Come on.
