archived-vidoes Indietalk Hall of Fame

Welcome to the Indietalk screening room Hall of Fame

The idea is to collect up all the films made over the years here, that showcase the progress of the indietalk community.

Here you can nominate any type of film or video from Indietalk's entire history. You can nominate your own film.

There will be 3 subposts here. (sorry admin, necessitates quick quad post, not a bump) The current top 10, the top 100, and the current nominees. Below those posts you can post your nominations. (with links)

The top 10 will be embedded, and below them the top 100 in text form with links.

Each person gets 3 votes for life. Use them carefully. Nominating a film does not consume a vote.

Of course, it's all about you guys now, just send in your links to anything that you think represents the best of the forums. Trailers are ok for now, though they will probably get pushed out when we have 10 good films.

Oh, wow. This could be a fun thread. Thanks for including "Antihero"!

I'm not 100% sure I like the idea of ranking them, but I do really like the idea of spreading the love. I gotta work in a few hours, so I don't have time to properly consider those I'd like to holler at, so off the top of my head, I'll just mention a short that always gets me a laugh --

Well, for example there are films I would nominate that I supervised the sound on or sound designed or mixed.

I guess these count, then?

But they all have to be Indie?

I nominate Poke's Sometimes They Come Loose.

It was made for an IT film challenge a few years back, and is imo one of the best films originating 100% from this forum.

Heh... found a lo-res copy on YT:

But they all have to be Indie?

Yep, though I think I'd accept Indietalk alumni. The starting point for creating this thread was to show all that had been accomplished from Indietalk's years of sharing filmmaking advice. Not only is it a fun place to check out our collective "best of", but a place for newcomers to see what comes from the time people spend here.

I'll throw one of mine in as a pool filler, though judging from reactions I got for this film, if there was a "what in the world" hall of fame, I'm sure it would be there lol (plus any newbies can see how weird I am lol)

I don't seriously expect to really get in the hall, but to add to the pool :)

Face Value (funny, I had two versions of this, the other one seems to have disappeared off youtube....)
