Wheatgrinders Monthly IT Challange for Febuary 2011

"Wheatgrinders Monthly IT Challenge" is coming soon.
Here is the time line in review:

  1. "Challenge Area" Announced:
    On the FIRST Monday in February Ill tell everyone what the "Challenge Area" will be (see below)
  2. Suggestion Box Open:
    From that Monday through Thursday everyone suggests specific challenges that support the main focus
  3. Suggestion Box Closed:
    On Friday I gather up all the ideas that meet my strict yet completely arbitrary criteria and I set up a poll
  4. Vote:
    Voting over the weekend. You should only vote if you REALLY plan to participate, but its up to you to be honest.
  5. Challenge Details Announced:
    On the 2nd Monday in February the challenge is announced.
  6. Upload The Movies:
    Everyone, and I mean everyone, even if you didn't vote, or hate circus midgets, has until 11:59 PM on the Sunday before the the first Monday in March to upload


Please Note:
The 1st place prize is nada, 2nd place prize is zilch and 3rd place gets nothin.
There are NO rules, ignore the challenge details if you want, though I reserve the right, and encourage others, to type in all caps..
"BAD FORM! BAD FORM!" if your so tactless as to do something so antisocial as to "topic crash!"

  • Pre-Production Planning
  • Visual Effects
  • Editing
  • Writing

I'm calling it "Wheatgrinders Monthly IT Challenge" because Im the boss and thats just the way it is. If you want to have a say in it, be nice to me... Actually, Id prefer you be a jerk, just do it in a real creative way.. :)

damn you. I won't be getting my T2i till after febuary 11. Think we could do this in march? march is my birthday ya know.
 
plan is one every month.. but do something for this month.. with your zwhateva cam..

EDIT: Feb 11th? Youll have plenty of time .. the final assignment wont be announced until the 2nd Monday in Feb.. thats the 14th

Whops there is a mistake.. you have until 12:00 AM on the first Monday in MARCH to complete your films. At which time the next monthly challenge area will be announced and.. lather, rinse, repeat..

In all reality since there is no judging etc, it doesn't REALLY matter when you finish it.. or if you finish at all.. its just fun you know.. though, again we all reserve the right to type in all caps the one suitable punishment for these contest.. "BAD FORM"
