What up Indie Talk?! I haven't been around for ages! What have I missed? Who's still here? CF, Bird, Dready, I know you were all working on different things, how have they been coming along? Has anyone heard from Buddy lately? What's been happening in the industry?

I started uni recently, so I've been incredibly busy. I even resigned from my job! I haven't really done anything creative in a while, I just haven't had the time or feeling. I've got a new laptop now though, so who knows, maybe I'll get some screen writing done during the 3 hours of travelling I do almost every day.

Anyway, I just thought I'd make a post and jump back in with everyone :D

So, you entered uni? I assume that means you finished the other one? Congrats!

There have been some cool IT collaborations. Zensteve and Flicker worked on brianluce's debut short, and I had the privilege of cutting the teaser trailer. Weaty is currently producing a Clapper screenplay. Ernest and Zensteve both made contributions to my latest documentary. Ernest worked on Dready's first short, which I have the great pleasure and privelage of cutting!

That's what I'm hoping. The only requirement is that I have all my reading and assignments done before opening Celtx. Dunno how well I'll do with that, but I'll try :D

Yep, finished tafe, finally. I officially have a senior high school education. Now I'm at uni doing a Bachelor of Education. In 3 and a half years I will be a high school English teacher! Still blows my mind that I've managed to get to this point.

Wow, that's awesome! I'd like to see all these things! Looks like everyone's been busy :p
 
Buddy hasn't been on the boards for quite some time. As I understand it, he is taking hiatus from internet, in general. I get occasional well-wishes from him, though, usually around a holiday.

Yeah, I should email him. We were emailing, but I guess being busy got in the way. Last I heard he was working on a few different projects. He was always so helpful. Wish he'd come back to IT :(

Lol, HI BUDDY!

I dunno, I wrote out a few scenes I've had in my head for a few months while I was on the train today, so we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll see if anyone wants to read what I wrote and encourage me to write more lol :p
