I did a google search and found equires top 60 films of 2024

I've only seen 2 of them, sequel to mad max and dune, and I didn't care of either of them.

My reason was really that they were just fun movies, regardless of how "good" they were, I enjoyed two hours fun with them.

ODDITY (A good old fashioned horror yarn)
THE SUBSTANCE (balls out crazy. Demi Moore! Great makeup FX)
LONGLEGS (Great atmosphere and Maika Monroe)
LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL (Nice job of world building a TV show)
DON'T MOVE (Good suspense and I love the two leads)
I couldn't get into those either.

I couldn't get into those either.
Thanks for this one. Hadn't heard of it and both points are right up my alley.

Go in with medium expectations. While Kelsey Asbille is in Yellowstone, I was trying to place where I had seen the lead actor, Finn Whitrock. Turns out he was the lead in a little indie movie that I love, called LONG WEEKEND. Totally different character, which is why it took me a while to recall.
He had a small but memorable (to me) role in The Big Short, which I liked a lot, and I also saw him in The Luckiest Girl Alive, which is quite dark but I liked that as well.
I realize I will be sacrificing any cred here., this is what I enjoyed most:
1. Dune 2 .... Huge fan of the books, close enough
2. Conclave... Those lyin', schemin' Cardinals!
3. Deadpool & Wolverine... I know, I know, cool peeps aren't supposed to like this stuff
4. Saturday Night... From everything I've heard, none of this is true, but for someone who saw the original as a kiddo
5. Horizon Pt. 1... Appreciate me a good epic
