watch The Taint of the Associate

Watched it a few days ago. Didn't really have much to offer, but if you must...

It lacks focus.

Why did you try to put such an experimental spin on it?

I am afraid to watch it. You seem like a nice guy and the last 5 or 6 shorts I watched in here were just awful. I fear this may be the same.

I think it is alright for a little home video fun I guess, but if you are trying to be a serious film maker I think you are going to have to invest in some more equip.

The whole beginning has that "in camera mic sound", in fact it sounds like an old camcorder. It seems like its shot kind of awkwardly. The jump cuts could have been timed better I think. And maybe the aftermath could have been more suggestive.

The music was also kind of awful to me, especially when it randomly and abruptly stops.

This was boring, however the idea might not be bad.

It went from boring to this could be a cheesy porno to human centipede 3 to a nicolas cage impression to a man walking off.

What was my problem? The angles and how long each cut took, you should have had multiple angle cuts of the objects you should have had continuous music throughout.

Also I didn't like the frame rate what did you use, I wanted there to be 2 seconds of slow motion for each shot to bring the emotion and intensity.

So see if you can film it again and cut the long crap scenes out make it quicker with some scenes slow motion

This is a short subject, part narrative, part experimental. Tell me what you think.
Looks like a first attempt at filmmaking.

What were you hoping to achieve or learn from planning, shooting, editing, and uploading it?
With that information I'd have a better idea about which direction to point you. :)

The first minute and fifteen seconds was wasted video. Then it gets kinda okay for a first timer. The sound was horrid and the white/black wasn't needed..
