Should movie makers follow the trail of people with no regrets, or make their own way?

The whole topic was to just be dramatic, I am not trying to offend anyone at all. I just sometimes like to see the edges of things and then go from there lol

I am not out to hurt anyone's feelings (and if I did, I apologize), just like the idea of a discussion. I am guilty of being an asshole here on this thread, and am sorry for any feelings that got hurt. No sarcasm.

I think a lot of people only know Affleck from his American films, but I really like the stuff he did in other markets better. A lot of those Czechoslovakian and Zaire based Ben Affleck films are really good.
