Hey guys, the time has come for this years Secret Santa!!!! :D

So, lets get some names down!

1 - Say your game or no in the thread. If game, what kind of message do you want from your Santa?

2 - Message me on Facebook or my email: joshythehipster@gmail.com (RE: Secret Santa) so I can send you guys your people to make presents for, which brings me to point 3...

3 - Names will be drawn 1st December (GMT) before 11pm, so watch your email boxes with an eagle eye ;)

4 - On the run up to Christmas (20th December 2013), a posting thread in the screening room on the 23rd December for you guys to pop your videos, but don't post until Christmas day! (Not time-zone restricted)

5 - Have fun, as that's the main thing!

Let the names begin...

(I was going to put in a pic of a "deer crash into a car" for a funny game-y image, but... LOL! you'll have to do your own google image search because they're pretty gruesome. Not very "Christmassy" in the least little bit. :lol:)

It works by your email address being put into a Secret Santa generator and you'll get an email notification about it. From there, you have until Christmas day to make a short video for your guy =D

If you look at the post above yours, you will see past Secret Santa's and how that works. However, its simply:

- Get a name
- Make a vid
- Enjoy good times


All for the low, low cost of $999.99 plus P+P....

Sorry, I felt like a shopping channel host xD

It's a casual thing, no pressure. Just have fun :)

It's not about making a real film, necessarily. Just giving holiday well wishes to another IT member. You can of course be as elaborate as you want, some people use it as an excuse to make something awesome, filmmaking-wise. Although my favorites in years past have been the ones (with sometimes minimal production value or story) that are more personal based on the actual giftee. Some folks also go silly or campy. But plenty of folks who end up not having ideas or very much time will just create a little vlog style video saying 'Merry Christmas' and there ain't nothing wrong with that either.

I suggest you check out the gift threads from previous years. You can get a feel for it and maybe some inspiration. I hope you participate!
