I liked him in the 1970's mini-series, "Shogun".

Yup. Pretty cool guy: Dr. Kildare. Maybe somebody like Amazon will pick up the old TV series to sit beside Perry Mason and other good stuff from this golden age.

Sorry to hear he's gone, I really enjoyed his work in the original Shogun, It was one of my favorite pieces of 80s television. I think I've watched it about ten times.

I also enjoyed his performance in that mini-series. I wonder how it compares to the current streaming series.
