Recording a Delivery

I'm not sure what you're asking.
I wouldn't be hard at all to include a delivery in
a production. But it seems you are asking about
offering a service. Am I reading that right? Are
you asking if your company should offer to
videotape the birth of a child like companies offer
to shoot weddings?
If so, have you done research in your local area?
Is this something that a lot of parents want but
no one is offering?

Interesting topic. I think usually it is family or the father filming the birth. I would think it would be very uncomfortable for most people to have a stranger video taping their most private of moments. Offering the service is so unique, that it almost comes across as creepy.

Many hospitals prohibit video recording in the delivery room.
Maybe home deliveries would be the only option. At least in the states.
What about video taping the conception?.....Sorry, couldn't resist. I've love to do the post audio production on that, I've already got the soundtrack picked out.
man, after the first two or three, you miss the old days where the dad's waited out in the other room for the entire processes. There are something just better left to the imagination..
