I havent seen it yet bc i havent seen the original either with Keitel. I want to watch that one first b4 i get to this one. But sooner or later...
It's not a remake. Herzog claims to have never even seen the Abel Ferrara version (nor have I admittedly) but apparently there is almost no similarity between them other than the name and the fact they're about rogue cops. I'm sure there are people on here who have seen both and can swear to the differences...
Hmmm. I didnt know that. I thought it was more of a continuation. Kind of like Hustler and The Color of Money.
