One of my tracks (Ego) is in the movie... there is around 15 and 20 people living there. It sometimes changes.... There now planning to adopt a lot of refugees from ukraine. So that's gonna be an interesting move....This looks really cool. Looking forward to seeing it. Interesting self contained world. Are you doing music for this one? How many people live in this one building?
Are you still filming on this one? I'm just thinking, you could append a section featuring the Ukrainian refugees moving in, make that aspect the focus of your marketing on release, and utilize the international surge in interest to get your film in front of a lot more people. In terms of web searches, "films about the Ukraine invasion" will be one that picks up a lot soon. Send that out to a lot of news stations during a slow news week later this year, and you could probably get a lot of free publicity. One of my tracks (Ego) is in the movie... there is around 15 and 20 people living there. I stop't filming last year and the movie will have its premier in two weeks....... But one day I will be with the last day's of the Landbouwbelang when it will be torn down (hopefully that will take a long long time) .... Then I can make an longer extended cutAre you still filming on this one? "Refugees fleeing Ukraine during the 2022 invasion find help from an unlikely source, a group of homeless people living in an abandoned building" it makes a decent news headline. With some luck, your film might even result in some donations to help the residents and the refugees.
It could be an inspirational story about how those who had the least were willing to share the most. I think there's some thread of universal truth to that.
Just thinking out loud.
If they tear it down, or blow it up, I would gladly film a scene inside the building and the main protagonist running out of the building so we can intercut that with the explosion of the building later on. That would be great! Free production value and explosions.I stop't filming last year and the movie will have its premier in two weeks....... For me the place has more value as a film location.....if its not torn down I film'd parts of my first short movies here...... and many film makers use this location for films and music clips. But its a beautiful film location with a lot of potential....If they tear it down, or blow it up, I would gladly film a scene inside the building and the main protagonist running out of the building so we can intercut that with the explosion of the building later on. Of course, for your sake and all tje squatters inside I hope that will not be soon. Just saving... If they kick the squatters out it would be a fantastic opportunity to use as an indy filmmaker.
