Looking to put a crew together to take Sundance.

The thing that makes me apprehensive about this project (possibly unfairly) is that idea that it's being aimed at Sundance.
You're rushing through the scheduling of the project to try and get submission to the top independent film festival in the world. Sundance directors tend to have a lot of experience, the writers have spent years crafting their scripts and they've got access to top end equipment and actors. It simply doesn't seem likely that a project like this will stand a chance of getting included at Sundance.
Why not slow down the process, rather than rushing to meet the Sundance deadline, and apply to some of the thousands of other highly respected film festivals?

Or just aim for Sundance 2012.
One reason why projects like this usually fail is because the
originator doesn't keep the interest up by letting everyone
know what's going on. I sure wish kriegs089 would keep
everyone updated on the progress. Answering questions and
keeping people informed would go a long way to maintaining
interest and even bringing on new people.
