Is this funny?

I didn't see the movie or the trailer, but I did get the Tropic Thunder reference

It's a cute short. I should have watched your parody before the real trailer though.

I personally really like Will Smith. I think he's a great actor. In all honesty, I think he should have been nominated for Hancock--great performance.

Agreed, Will Smith is the man.

Hancock- I agree, the first 30 mins were amazing (you know, when he DIDN'T care) and then the rest of the movie became a weird generic superhero family movie without the "edge" of the first 30 mins (aka- the trailer/premise). Wish they had stuck with the ass-Hancock a bit longer, or had a regression or two....

As for the topic at hand- pretty funny... some good lines... eg. "King Kong Aint' got nothing on me", "Boop" x3, and "If they don't give me an Oscar for playing Obama, I'll have to play a retard" were pretty funny.

Some of the shots were really nice, other's too dark. Did it make me laugh out loud? No- but I did snicker at the cleverness behind it all. So I'd say- comical, yes... funny, maybe (to some people)... good, yeah.

I probably missed most the gags (aside from the Obama one).

I don't think I've seen a film with Will Smith in it since Independence Day.
