Apologies for my own comment, I felt on a $0 budget (as stated) extreme traffic noise would not be a choice indoors (since you have $0 to do sound), in fact you even had to remove the music due to this (at least partially) so I figured you were calling it creative, as many directors do with questionable elements of a film. Stick around sir!
