I am a VERY VERY VERY novice filmmaker. I am not here to sell myself or anything. I simply want to learn from those of you who have accomplished what I one day hope to accomplish. I have recently turned 16, I have a very cheap camera (sony handycam *ugh*) and WMM to edit on. I definitely want to pursue this as a career and I am planning on going to a film school after high school. My school doesn't offer any type of film programs or classes and I can't afford (on my own) to go to a film workshop and I don't want to burden my mom with that. I work part time and I use that money to get equipment and things. I wanted advice from any other filmmakers, aspiring or otherwise, who have made films with such limited resources or ideas from people who have made films with only one actor (myself) and only one small camera. I am sure that there are people out there who have done it before. All that I am asking for is someone to let me know how you accomplished what you have accomplished and someone to keep in contact with on the forums to help me with my progress. I plan on being an active member on these forums so get used to the name "Comikkaze"

Don't sell the resources you have short, 'cos if they are the best you have... then you will make them work.
Noone ever has the "best" gear. Excel with what you have access to.
