Emerging filmmaker here making a doc on Hollywood. It's been tough, but I'm starting to get some help so things are moving forward more quickly. Hopefully I can contribute to some good causes out there once I get this film done.

Hey ZenSteve. Hi.
I'm basically doing a doc focusing on the realities of Hollywood. Kind of a combination of a travel guide and an expose. I hope it's allowable to post another thread that I have on here that gives you more detail on the project: http://www.indietalk.com/showthread.php?p=133344#post133344.
It will give you a lot more info about the film.
When I first moved to Hollywood, I was really stunned and taken aback, and would have loved to have seen something similar to what I'm working on in order to have given me a better idea of what to expect, so hopefully I can help others before moving here.

LFO is that you Denny? Thanks for the interest. I'll definately get back to you soon (email). Trying to do about 10,000 things at once with the advertising and marketing as well as the hiring of a producer for the film. This is day one for starting the big buzz machine up, now that I have an agent/manager/legal rep.
How are things on your end?
