My name is Jacob and, I love film. I have been making films for two years now and, have put forth tons of effort in all the films I have made. I recently moved up from a Canon Vixia HG20 to a Sony HXR-NX5U and, I am having a lot of fun with that. Along with my switch with camcorders I also switched my editing software from Final Cut Express to using Adobe's Masters Collections focusing on mainly After Effects and Adobe Premiere. I have been on this website for a couple days now and, I got to say everyone seems to be so friendly here and willing to help! I am really considering upgrading my membership!
 
Thanks! Well, I heard good things about Adobe's After Effects. I purchased the Sony HXR-NX5U which is AVCHD and, I really like using AVCHD Camcorders however, Final Cut had some problems with my Sony HXR-NX5U. So I did some research and, it seems that many use Adobe Premiere and After Effects and, they like it. So I got a good discount on the Masters collection so I went for it and, so far it is doing pretty good but, a little hard to get use to. Hopefully in the long run it will be better.
