yeah, I was waiting for them to get mowed down with a machine gun, with blood splatters all over the lens.

work on that one, Wheat? you know, for the crowd that likes a little gore with their Halloween holiday ;)
 
Ok, so this is the ONLY footage I have of this shot. Not going to reshoot..

What would YOU do to make it more Halloween-ish?

Just as they pass the camera .. machine gun sound effects, muzzle flashes from low in the fog, and blood splatter on the lense (fake in some camera shake!) Thats more action then Halloween...


I could probably fake in some scary guy stepping out of the fog.. I have a chainsaw and a green screen.. ???

Ideas?

Ha! Perfect!

And also happy halloween all around! Definitely my favorite time of the year. I usually do a Dia de los Muertos celebration where I lock my front door and kill a bottle of mezcal. Also a post-halloween run to costume shops and big box stores to pick up all sorts of tacky spooky stuff on the cheap! In my world, as in the Ministry song, Everyday is Halloween!

the fog is great. someone masked with a pitchfork, chainsaw, pointy farm tool of death...

yeah, a scream might help, too.

but it is just nice as is. :)
