Whatever it is they're looking for will be in the initial development & introduction stages of the product life cycle, thus few people will even be aware of its existence outside of developers who may be seeking their own promotional material.

Will there plan work or will they get caught? (copyright@racereed)

oo oo oo, also I've often played with an idea for a short about someone who starts hearing voices. And the audience hears them as well.

Like we share their psychotic experience.

Uh, but that's all I've got on it.

You should watch Mr. Brooks Great film.... and seeing Dane Cook getting his throat slit by a shovel was always a dream of mine. They actually fulfilled that in this movie.

naaaah, I'm not in to blood. I'm more into the fear of blood.

I thought it would be fun to just mess with their minds a bit.

I dunno. It's just a free idea. I'm never going to write it.

Meh, can't think of any ideas

You are aware, though, that you cannot copyright an idea? You can only copyright a script.

Actually, you can copyright an idea, doesnt mean its protected though:D http://legalwritepublications.com/copyright/can-you-copyright-an-idea/

Im not trying to start a debate, but i was hired along with others by Bilken Bros. Publishing to write a collection of short stories for an easy to read book for teenagers, I just added the copyright info to inform that these were not just random ideas that i had, I added these to this forum because, a lot of the other ideas were crap and i wanted to contribute something different.

I love that film! In all actuality, I would have never started watching Dexter had it not been for this film. It was what introduced me into the idea, and I've loved it ever since.

And I've always wanted to see Dane Cook murdered as well!

I've always thought he was a poor comedian.

Is Dexter anything like that movie? If so, I am morally obligated to watch it.

Hey, but voice hearing is inherently scary though, isn't it. It's like ghosts, it's some sort of deep seated, instinctive fear.

Makes you want to run.

I actually even researched it for a bit, thinking maybe it could be a feature, and there are many different types of voice hearing.

There are the cliche ones, telling them to kill people, and ones that tell them to kill themselves, and there are more abstract ones, where they think someone has spoken, and they haven't.

Or where the words are jumbled, and they attribute meaning to them.

Some people actually just hear screaming.

But it's not for me.

I definitely think the voice hearing thing has been a savagely neglected fear inducer though. I mean, they could hide behind their hands, but even then, they'd still be hearing the voices,

Aaaaggghhh !!!

scream fest.

(No title yet)
Talented and promising scriptwriter gets kidnapped by gangsters in need of a good script to steal a lot of money from investors/studios/filmfund/(whatever the funding system in your country). She is locked up in a high building to write something brilliant. Her attempts to escape fail until she demands more paper to write. She uses the paper and ducttape to build wings to escape throught the window.
The movie starts with a fast introduction of the writer: from birth till the moment the movie starts: this introduction turns out to be the presentation one of the gangsters is giving to the rest of the gang to explain his 'cunning plan'. Secretly he has actual filmambitions.
An arrogant, but not so brilliant director has depths, so he has to sell the story to get the money or die. (He's the puppet the gangsters use for their scam.)

A little absurdism and fairytale elements that showup more and more as the story progresses could be fun :P

(I should look up the notes I made years ago: I know there is more than this.)

True... would be quite a creepy night, if you hear whispers, but can't find where they're coming from
