First new commercial of the bunch...

Hey, folks.

"Speedstick"

I'll not bore your ears with the common niceties, as this is our third commercial created via Poptent, and i daren't cause an echo. The aim was not so much a direct commercial, but one to broaden their product to a new audience, an introduction so to say.

P.S There'll be another three before the turn of the year... Apologies amigos.

"AARP"

That damned snow! I was stuck in traffic for 12 hours one night... 12 hours... I felt like James Franco...

Really enjoyed that Paper, even though I have no idea what SpeedStick is (I assume it's deodorant, but what a terrible name!). What city is that?

Thanks, Nick.

Sheffield, ofcourse.

The snow was not a blessing. No post for a week. We came to the conclusion there would be postmen buried and frozen all over town. We British do love our mail.

I dont know why ur not proud of it, the shots are great!

Cheers, bud.

There's a mutual feeling that it was rushed. It's not how we work, and for this, the material suffered. Although it does look beautiful, and that is down to one particular member of PTP, who i can't praise enough.

Nevertheless, forward we go!

Cool, I got a total VIBE from that video.. I was there.. It worked subconsciously, I really felt like something was about to happen.. that I was getting ready for "what comes next"

That music had a lot to do with it I think.. original? Friends?

Thank you, Wheat :)

It was a friend of one of the trio's, and his willingness to allow us to use the track was very much appreciated by us all.

Laaaaaaaaaame. My internet is down at home, so I'm using my phone's browser to get my indietalk fix. But that means I can't view this video cuz it requires flash, or whatever. Oh well, I look forward to watching it later. I suspect you're being an overly-harsh self-critic.

Cheers, Dready. :)

Maybe so, Cracker. I just can't help but think that I should have worked on the concept more, from a writers perspective.

But we've all had the experience of looking back on your work and knowing you could have accomplished more, it just seems to have come sooner rather than later for myself.

Nothing to be coy about, Paper. Nice job all around. I use Speed Stick, and I'm always wondering what the hell is coming next.

Exactly!

You may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
You may find yourself in another part of the world
You may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
You may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
You may ask yourself: well... how did I get here?

You may ask yourself
How do I work this?
You may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
You may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
You may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!

(Hey, Daniel! You should have asked David Byrne if you could use "Once in a Lifetime!")
