Finally found a filmmaker community

I don't know if it is because I was using the wrong terms to search for such a community via google, but I finally found my way to this forum. My name is Evan. I live in America. I make films. I dislike the term movies for my own little fanboy reasons, but I like em just as much or even more than making them. I grew up on films much in the same way Scorsese did - didn't go outside much when I was younger, though it had more to do with neighborhood problems instead of asthma. I just grew in my love of film and now, knowing about film as an art and learning more and more about how to make them, I want to make them.

I am here not only to possibly make friends, but to also learn. People on here are amateur/independent filmmakers themselves and I could possibly learn from the fine members here. I am happy to be here and I hope I will have a fun time here!

To note, I have posted a short film of mine in the Screening Room (Narrative section). Just saying since it seems that with a forum as big as this, threads seem to get buried quite easily lolz.
