[Lord of Light]

Here's the trailer for my new film "Coercion". It's a sci-fi/horror that takes place in a high school. A mild mannered girl and juvenile delinquent escape detention only to find themselves trapped in the school after dark and stalked by a mysterious and menacing creature.

Shot on a Bolex using Kodak 7266 tri-x reversal film (16mm b/w).

Shot of film is cool. But it looks like you did not spend much time lighting. Maybe thats just the look your going for. It feels a bit sterile..

Very retro, the sound track is particularly interesting in that regard.

Thanks for the feedback. I was really inspired by Alien in terms of the cinematography as well as some early German Expressionism so I was kind of going for that low-key lighting. Your sterility comment was interesting. What caused you to think that?

Is the film a short or feature?

It's a 6 1/2 minute short. Would love to shoot a feature using this film but the cost is outrageous. Still prefer film to digital though
