Canon T2I or XH A1

I'm going to get either the T2i new or the XH A1 used for some small documentary projects and maybe a couple shorts in the future, but I cant decide which camera buy. I only want to hear the opinions of those who have used both cameras.

If you are just doing narrative: get the T2i

If you plan on doing any documentary work, get the XH A1.

T2i can only shoot for 12 mins a shot. Thats why its NOT good for docus..

Also, it tends to overheat if you film for too long without a break. Total deal breaker if you're filming something live as it happens. It's an amazing camera for narrative work, though.

Full-agreement. I own the T2i. Have never used your other camera. But I would not purchase the T2i for documentary work.

Here's an idea: You buy 2 T2i's that way you can be continuously filming??? You'll have the best looking Doc around.
