screenplay Can you turn this paragraph into a screenplay?

Back again, everyone,

Anyway, the late science fiction legend, Robert Heinlein, said

A science fiction story should involve at least one scientific or technological change, such that, without the change, the story would not be possible. And, aside from that change, the science should not be at odds with what we understand science to be. For example, if you write a story about humans being from Mars, you should explain why we're genetically similar to apes.

Those may not be his exact words, but they sum up what he did say. Can this paragraph be turned into a screenplay? I'm not taking about people talking; I'm talking about this paragraph being the script.

I have a reason for asking, which I will explain once I get the answer. Thanks for your help.

It's funny that you say that, because "why bother" is exactly what was going through my mind the entire time I wrote that. I have kidney stones this month and honestly I'm just easily irritated right now from lack of sleep, etc.

Normally I wouldn't have bothered to respond. This person has made quite a number of disparaging comments towards myself and others over time, and I felt like a little pushback was appropriate.

He can make as many negative comments as he likes about anyone he wishes, it's a free country. However by that same token I'm certainly free to question the context of his judgment.

Disparaging others is such a cheap shortcut to respect. People who want respect should earn it through action, like that guy who posted "A life across the street". That guy worked in silence for years and did the best job that he could, and now everyone respects him. It's a simple, direct, and honest method that's appreciated by everyone. Logically, it feels as though someone superior to me would at least have a grasp of that simple concept.

Damn, sorry to hear that. Is it an all-soda and no-water kinda thing or just bad luck?

kidney stones scare the hell out of me.
I have chronic bladder pain from interstitial cystitis, and if I couldn't urinate from kidney stones I'd be in traumatic pain all day, very scary.

My bladder pain has taken a turn for the worse the past couple months, I haven't been able to sleep through the pain, it never shuts up, and laying there in bed there's nothing else to distract from the pain. I was getting about 1 hour of sleep every 30 hours, it's been so exhausting I've been unintentionally slipping into microsleeps

Bad enough I've started to seriously consider having my bladder surgically removed, but now I'm also hearing a lot of good things about stem cell therapy in cuba. Adam devine recently did that in cuba, still waiting to hear if it helped him or not, but yeah - American citizens have to fly to cuba for their health care 🤮 i need the lining of my bladder repaired.

So that'll cost about $20,000-50,000 to go to cuba for the treatment, not something I can afford in the forseeable future.
In the meantime I was prescribed a temporary supply of narcotics so at least I'm rested for now

I've never really understood what the care icon is supposed to be. Why does the smiley face have a giant lobster claw?

I just got that internal burning thing for the first time a couple of days ago, so I literally feel your pain. At first I thought oh this is nothing compared to the migraines, a few days later I'm realizing how disruptive a small amount of pain can be when it's just constant 24/7.

To answer your question it is absolutely an all soda and no water thing. I was always just one of those people that never drank water. Now all of a sudden I'm stuck having to drink an extra gallon of tap water per day, or else. I didn't like the taste of tap water, but tap water filled with baking soda and apple cider vinegar is honestly way worse.

They started giving me narcotics as well, It fixes the problem, But now I've got narcolepsy, Just falling asleep 8 times a day while I'm trying to work. It's all very annoying.

@sfoster, my best wishes - I don't think I could have survived your condition. As for going to Cuba for anything, well, I'm a neocon, but I know politics should not be discussed here. Have you thought of Turkey? I understand many procedures are done there cheaply.

Haven't though of turkey, didn't know it was an option. I only just recently heard about the cuba stem cell thing on adam devines podcast, he said he was a huge celebrity down there because sofia vergaga from modern family is cuban and they all love her

I'm gonna imagine a fantasy world where my book is successful enough that I could afford either option, and then be rich and pain free.

@sfoster, how much would it cost in the US?
I should probably do more research before opening my mouth on this stuff - certain stem cell treatments are actually available in the usa!
that surprises me. I hadn't heard about stem cells in a decade, and adam devine had that story about cuba. looking into it now.

I asked BING AI - it estimated $5,000-10,000 which sounds affordable, but unfortunately it says the stem cell relief is only temporary.
What a shame. I hoped the stem cell stuff would actually fix and cure things.

It says temporary could be a few months, or a few years.
A few years is honestly still great, if it lasted that long and it were that cheap, it'd be worth getting every few years.

I have an appointment on december 23rd with a specialist at johns hopkins, just a consultation to see what they suggest.
There's something else I've read about called bladder distension where they put you under anesthesia and inflate your bladder to stretch it out, for lucky people this provides a significant relief. That's the more traditional approach so they'll probably suggest I try it.
