I am from New York. This looks like an interesting forum.
I am a performance artist and have a weekly public access tv comedy show that airs in 3 boroughs of NYC - Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. You can visit my site at http://www.msdivine.net to learn more about me and my work.
I have made a few films as well.
I will post clips of it under the viewing section.
I used to shoot with a sony digital 8 camera. Now I use a Sony VX 2100.
I find some of the new cameras a bit too overly sharp.
I hope this forum has lots of good tips. I also would like to converse with people who have a passion for the arts. I am sure there are lots of film-makers/artists lurking in this forum who are fed up with mainstream.
