Yeah, actually, I just got this in my news feed.
He's starring in the new 345 million dollar studio gamble "Sponge Bob Square Pants: Miami Nights"
I've actually got some unreleased publicity photos that got leaked on 4chan. Apparently during the film Spongebob keeps growing in size whenever it rains, and they're in Miami, so it's raining all the time, and Affleck is trying to keep the sponge in check as it explores Miami's many locations. I don't want to get my hopes up, but just on the surface, it all sounds riveting.
They're planning to pair it with a 3 hour biopic of Jonas Salk, and push it as a double feature that was carefully orchestrated to play upon the sophisticated dichotomy of modern audiences, and their evolving expectations shaped by a bar for executive creativity that's constantly on the rise.
There's even a Taco Bell ad campaign where Spongebob and Jonas Salk hang out together at a Taco bell, and I guess Salk cures Spongebob's polio with a Chipotle Bacon Southern wrap 3 layer Gordita supreme.
