Agreed - IMDB can be a huge pain in the ass.... once you already have a profile on there and some credits, it's not too bad to change small things, like a character name or adding yourself to a film that's already up there - but trying to get new titles added, oh man - even if a film has been in...

For the record - I really enjoy the Saw franchise along with many other similar films, but I also do call them "torture porn" films - not saying it's a bad thing, but those films definitely need to be seperated from "horror films" like the original Halloween. I am entertained and enjoy torture...

Wow - it's awesome you're even willing to pay for a low budget indie.... of course depends on what you mean by "low" that could have a totally different meaning to me than it does to you.... I think $100/day is a good basic starting rate once you start talking about paying people.

agreed - you want it to be as even and as bright as possible - shadows are not your friend...

Do something shocking.... I know a couple of films who have gotten tons of exposure because they had a prop gun on set and cops showed up thinking it was the real thing and then wham - they're all over the news..... Given your ages maybe do some sort of prank at school to coincide with the film...

Like Michael says, there's a big difference between shorts and features. One of the reasons we're all so excited about this is because there were only 4 features accepted out of hundred on entries...

Nice work! It really looks awesome - the Vimeo was a bit choppy for me too, but it's probably just my computer since the video on the site works perfectly. Gorgeous photography, really! And awesome CGI and the music at the end is great - sets the tone for the whole film.... I'd love to see it...

Dirty Laundry Dunno why that came to mind, but sometime titles don't really have anything to do with the film.... although, I guess laundry, like laundering money... i dunno... and then dirty laundry is often a point of contention between couples and implies that there are things hidden between...

There are tons of places to post casting calls depending on where you're location - if you're in New England newenglandfilm.com is a great one and so is ourfilmspace.com - google auditions in your area and see where other people are posting and then give that a shot.... craigslist is pretty...

I was talking with some people about this film the other day - an interesting thing to think about.... The entry fee to Cannes is way more than $70 - I know that's not a production cost, but I just found it amusing.

Yes, they technically made the film for under $70 - but that's because all the make up and tape stock and food and everything else you usually have to pay for was donnated to them. The total expendature for the film was much more than that, but they only paid $70 out of pocket. They shouldn't...

I loved it - it was awesome. So nice to see a film that wasn't "torture porn" and I never got tired of the "BOO" moments - I jumped every single time and literally screamed out-loud in the theater for one of them. It not only was scarey, but had a few slightly "goofy" moments that made the film...

Not to mention that they have some awesome equipment also! This is going to be an awesome film - it's a really good script and these guys know what they're doing for sure.... so if you're looking to invest, definietly check them out!

Wow!!! Really nice work! It looks awesome! I watched some of the behind the scenes stuff on your website too and am really impress with the FX and CGI work you guys did. No doubt you guys are gonna be swept up by a big company sometime soon :) Congrats!
