Any good examples of Screenwriting converted to Story board?

I just went to Celtx and it looks to me like the storyboard feature is no longer free. It comes with the "edge" package.

watch In The Silence - Hand Drawn Animation

That was awesome. I even love the way the credits fall down at the end in stead of crawling up.

    NEED script critics !!!

You should fix the spelling and grammatical errors before asking someone to read it... "its" instead of "it's", "quiet" instead of "quite" Wasn't really feeling the dialogue. Some of it didn't sound how real people talk. Like when the kid overhears that he'll never walk again, his reaction...

    Free Ideas Thread

The final chapter of the Terminator series, told from the machines point of view, which is basically that pretty much everything can peacefully co-exist except mankind. Man always has a need to dominate and control everything around him, so the only way to achieve peace on earth is to eliminate...

from the website: "After four years as a web service, FiveSprockets.com is shutting down on Friday, 2 November 2012, at 9pm Pacific Standard Time in the USA (Midnight Eastern Standard Time). Please grab any work you may have on this site before then. The reason: the company simply doesn't...

That response cleared everything up for me. Thank you.

Are shooting permits to be ignored?

I heard somewhere that Aronofsky shot parts of Black Swan in New York's subway system without permits. So I'm left wondering, if a big time director like him can get away with it, then why should any of us ever even THINK about paying for a permit? If Aronofsky did indeed do this, then why did...

Please tell me I'm not stupid

I can't seem to get either of these in-browser screenwriting programs to work right. fivesprockets.com - After you type in a character's name and hit enter, logic would dictate that the program automatically thinks the next thing you're going to write is dialogue, and will indent accordingly...

    2 XL2's for 1700

Funny you should mention that. In another thread I was asking for camera recommendations for a friend, and someone suggested the XF100 (among others). I researched several cameras in the 3k price range and determined that the XF100 was the best. He's ordered 2 of them but they haven't arrived...

Need Dead Cat... not the windscreen, but an actual cat that is dead

The actor cat is a Russian Blue. I don't have pics of her but she looks exactly like this cat... and not to be racist but all Russian blues look the same to me ;) And no, it's not a horror movie and nothing gross happens to the cat. She dies of natural causes. The scene is a toddler being...

    2 XL2's for 1700

Many DSLR's can take audio but from what I've read they don't do it very well. You'll have to buy an H4N Zoom for around $300, or a Tascam DR-40 for about $160 and record audio separately and sync it up later.

    2 XL2's for 1700

You could get a nice DSLR for that price and do better "artsy weird stuff" but you would only be getting one camera vs 2, so you'd have to decide how important that B camera is .

    2 XL2's for 1700

Just make sure you buy lots of tapes online, because if you run out during a shoot it's difficult to find a store that sells them. The only other thing I didn't like about them is that capturing the video on you computer happens in near real-time, so if you shot 4 hours of footage that day...

Shoot it now or later (when I'm better?)

The guy I've asked to do it is an amateur musician and he records his own music, so he knows more about audio recording than I do. If he says no, then I'm kinda stuck. I have no budget, so I may end up having to just teach one of my friends how to do it. And the only stuff I know is from...
