Forums are getting less and less populated, partly because the number of free forums has skyrocketed, leading to a dissipation of people, and the same is true of FB groups. But where else do people hang out online these days? Nowhere else, aside, possibly from listservs - which are also getting less populated for the same reason.
Well then I'd suggest finding a good source of fiber to snack on such as Dates.

Yes, welcome, and, even if you're one of few words, we still hope you enjoy your time here - I know I am. 
Sometimes old school is the way to go. Besides, Blockbuster may be gone, but we still rent videos; and there may be few pay phones any more, but we now have a phone in our pockets. No matter what happens technologically, however, the basics are still the same. And that's what the professionals on this forum teach, the time-tested basics of filmmaking.
