Worst Movie Seen?

SquaretheJon - no need for explanation my bum, that was a great movie. I really would like to know why you think that one is the worst.

Film or Die - I'm a Kelly Clackson fan (music anyways) and From Justin to Kelly wasn't a great movie but it had its.... ok it was pretty bad but there are a lot of chicks in bikinis :)

Batman & Robin. I bought a VHS copy when it was released, made it five minutes in and ended up breaking it in half. Ice to see you!

That IS a hard one...hmmm...there are specific reasons I don't like a movie...either I just didn't like what/how something was being told, or I thought the overall production side of things sucked...

I'll name a few.

* Howard the Duck
* Gigli
* Plan 9 From Outerspace
* Batman 3 (the one with Arnold)
* Spice World...

Odd. And I'm totally being honest...I did a search after I wrote these down to jog my memory, and the site I found had all but one of my choices listed as worst movies...lol.

The Happening.

This movie is unbelievably bad, it's like Shyamalan made it bad on purpose. The dialogue is absolutely hilarious, it's unbelievably bad.

DWFERRY - Dayglow Batman was indeed crap!

M1chae1 - Howard the Duck was a fun movie. Gigli painful to watch. Plan 9 From Outerspace is a classic cult movie. Never saw Spice World but it looked really bad.

Jedsterg - I think the The Happening was a really well done movie.

How is The Happening a well done movie? :hmm:

The dialogue really was atrocious "cheese and crackers!"

Mark Whalberg's acting was absolutely hilariously bad.

I guess if your comparing it to low/no budget indie films then it's good, but c'mon, it's terrible.

Funniest movie of all time has to go to The Happening, scariest part of the movie was when i dropped my phone, Super Baby Geniuses 2 and From Justin to Kelly

-Jijenji, i thought Tropic Thunder was really funny, y didnt you think so?

I thought it was just stupid, not funny at all. I watched it with family and I think they liked it or at least thought it was eh, but for me it was just mind numbing. Everything was predictable and over the top and cliche and the comedy wasn't funny...what was up with the stupid fake Vietnamese kid? I was just mad I had to watch it.

If you guys haven't seen Pinata Island then I'm telling you it's worse than Plan 9. Trust me.
I did forget to mention another horrible movie right up there though...what was the name of that Vanilla Ice movie back in the day? :lol:

Jedsterg - I was going to send you a link with my review but it's not how I review movies now, so it's in depth. I gave it a 6/10 It was a bit creepy, they left some things to the imagtion.

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

The happening = SLAM ZOOM! SLAM ZOOM! SLAM ZOOM!

How is every shot a slam zoom? What were they thinking...

When someone tells me a bad movie is great i.e. 'Transformers' I reply with this...

ME: What was it about?
THEM: Well...there were talking robots...and they are fighting over a pyrimid thing... and theres explosions....It's just really entertaining.
ME: I watched a porno yesterday, it was very entertaining... Does that make it a Great film?

Theres a pretty well known phrase in NYC on set. When were going for a take that someone keeps messing up, we say "Ok, don't Bay this one up please".

Plan 9 is cult...yes, this I know. I personally think it's pretty darn bad. But I guess sometimes bad is good...really bad movies like Plan 9 are so bad they can be good. Like Ed Wood movies in general...lol.

M1chae1 - You're right is it bad, so bad that it's good. If someone were to ask me if they would like it I'd prod say "only if your taste are as bad as mine."

H.Z. - WOW I forgot all about that movie and I'd wish it would stay that way. That was a pile of poo.

I've seen a lot of bad movies. I saw one last night that one of my favorite actresses couldn't save. Paz Vega in THE HUMAN CONTRACT.

This movie is a great example of great intentions gone horribly wrong. Beautiful cinematography, fairly decent acting (though Vega should have been reeled in a notch for some of her "shock" expressions). But, Jada Pinkett Smith's screenplay needed some desperate rewrites. A good premise, long, drawn out, boring script.

To make matters worse, no topless Vega.

..wait, wait, WAIT!!!

There was a movie with 2 of the American Idol contestants??? WTF???

Let's see....

The Chronicles of Riddick was pretty bad....too bad, too because I love Pitch Black.

I've never been able to sit through Napoleon Dynamite. I tried.

If you want to go back in the day, IFC showed Beneath The Valley Of The Dolls. Oh. My. God. Bad.

Blair Witch: Book Of Shadows. How they got that from the original movie is beyond me. It really stunk up the place.
