Women in Masks-movies(not just horror)

I was wondering if anyone can suggest movies that have the characters in masks(I'm looking more for female characters, but any will do). I know there are horror movies out the wazoo with them, but what about non horror? For example, there's an old black and white film where all the characters wore masks, and only at the end credits did they "unmask", and it had a few well known actors and actresses for the time-anyone know the film? I know the "masks" were pretty much bunched up latex I think in that film.
I'm even willing to look at horror/thriller that isn't well as well known(characters not named Jason, Freddy, Michael or Pinhead).

I saw "The Strangers" recently, and am now wanting to find a replica of the female masks :)


BTW-yea, I'm not looking for porn in this case-that's too easy ;)

I'll also check out the Kubrick film-I've heard about it, haven't seen it....
 
Just wanted to say thanks for the advice, both on this thread and elsewhere in regards to the question.

Found a LOT of information, and sites like the maskon helped tremendously( I have so far found at least 40 horror films alone that have masks and/or masked females-some really interesting ones from Europe in the 60's)


If anyone comes across anything else related, let me know! :)
