Wild West Sets

Hey,

I had a vision for a movie that I want to produce that requires a wild west set (Western themed). I live in LA, and was wondering if there are any affordable sets for this type of filming around in the LA area? Let me know if you guys know anything. Much appreciated!

There are several standing western town sets in the SoCal area.

Some of the CA ghost towns can be used guerrilla-style, most require
permits and insurance. They are all exactly that – ghost towns; falling
apart and run down. If that's the look you're going for they are an option.

As stated above, you can find locations. Although certain objects, transportation, and wardrobe from around that time period are going to present some major trouble.
