What made you smile today?

Received an unexpected BTS candid from a film we shot over a year ago, in a text message.
I can't share it online, though... 'cos the internet is forever, and it's one of those things that should never see the light of day.
The actual scene it's from hit the cutting room floor, was doused in petrochemicals and then unceremoniously torched with a flamethrower. The director won't even speak of it. It's even been nixed as a possible DVD bonus cut scene.
But when my phone wakka-wakka'd (it's got a Pacman theme
) and I saw that fateful image load up, I knew I had something both so hilarious & horrifying that it will only ever be seen by a select handful of individuals who happened to have shared a most peculiar week out in the Mojave heatwave, and even they might still push this skeletal scenewreck to the darkest corner of that proverbial closet...
...and that made me smile.

It's unseasonably warm and I can finally enjoy it as I'm no longer hoping for snow for my short. Yay for the mildest winter Chicago has ever seen! I didn't have to dig my car into/out of one parking spot all season!

I laughed at a joke a colleague told me today:
2 actresses are standing in line for an audition. The first actress tells the other "I'm going to f&*$ the Producer to get this gig. And maybe the Director. Who are you going to f*$*?"
The other says "The sound guy."
The first says "Why in the hell would you do that?"
The reply: "Because everyone on set says 'f#&% the sound guy', so I thought that's what you do!"
Well....to be serious. Im not a troll. Wanted to makke a clitch song. a clitch song that keept a kind of structure. Otherwhise it would be a total Flashcore. Only a few have successful master this technique.

So I think I managed to do that.....but stil..... maby I should put in some more snares and drums to give it a more sollid structure.
I dont expect a soul here to understand my fascination for noise, random sound and breaks....but Im realy serious about it. I'm just a breakcore mother fucker. Only a different breakcore mother fucker, would understand.

Well, on the other side of things, I'm a hardcore structural noise fan (Aube, The Haters, Namanax, Ultra Milkmaids, Runzlestern & Gurglestock, etc), so I dig where you're coming from. And I think I've done shows with Xanopticon! Nothing wrong with a little structure to your abstraction (I hate the term "experimental")
And I love the badger song entirely without irony!
