Tucson Filmmaker Saying Hi

I had a lot of fun in Tucson, in the 80's & 90's. That's where I shot THE BLACK CRYSTAL. Also, the waterfalls were incredible, after monsoons and during snow melt. This is me being stupid out at Tanque Verde Falls.
Tanque Verde Falls! A place I do still enjoy very much. Funny to realize how many people have passed through Tucson. Nice toss by the way.

The lead in Detours (Tara Westwood) was also a producer w/me, and has known him for years. I loved the idea of having him in the movie - but when she told me she'd given him the script and he was reading it "right now," I started having heart palpitations
He was awesome to work with btw, and asked a question that helped me to improve the script.

A dream scenario indeed. Work with an actor that accepts good work from anywhere and doesn't treat it as "below" them.
