This is the trailer for a no-budget short I've just finished for film festival entry; shot on canon 5d mkII with vfx comped in Apple Motion. Aircraft were made by a mate in Cinema 4D. Hope you like it - unfortunately I can't put the full movie online till it's been through the festivals. Watch it in HD!

trailer makes me want to know why too, so good job. Looks great.

nit picking, the explosions were too small, and the one plane was too small and\or too low.
 
Thanks wheatgrinder... I think you're right, the planes should probably be faster too. I'll call it 'artistic licence' for now ;)

Looking forward to others comments...
 
Nice trailer. Film looks like quality work. Do the planes really need to go faster? They're not jets, after all.

I hope it does well in the festivals. :)
 
For all the composited effects I used stock from 'Action Essentials 2' which is great but is still a little limiting as the explosions and debris aren't perfectly suited to really big bangs. Still - it's a great collection and let me keep my vfx stock budget under $100.
