Hey guys,
FC here again wanting to share another short film we made titled, THE LUCKY ONE. This one was for a 24 hour film festival competition we learned about at the last minute. It was a hectic day and night but we got it in on time with 20 minutes to spare!

This film is exactly 5mins (Contest rules) and we I hope you enjoy it.

Also, VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED for really just a few shots.

I'll have to check this out when I get home, but 24 hours? Man, that's INSANE! I do the 48 every year, and that's a bit of a bear; I can only imagine how crazy 24 must be!

well you did a fantastic job! i loooved the music! For me, good music can make a film way better, but yeah anyway thought it was great! I may ask you in the future for your musical talent if you'd be up for it. just a heads up! :)
 
Hey, thanks for the compliments, however the music was not made by me but by the people in the credits at the end of the film. I was just saying they made it for the film specifically. I guess your question sounded like I was getting it from some other soundtrack or something. Thanks for watching tho!
 
Good job! I had a hard time understanding it at first, but it was kind of entertaining. The actor didn't sell the idea for me, I would have liked more inner struggle. Great for the time limit, and I second the comment about the sound quality.
 
Hey, thanks for watching. Out of curiosity what would you have done different with the inner struggle to add more? In the editing room we felt like we over did it. Curious to hear your thoughts.

I wouldnt change it, it's my fault for not getting it. I just meant turmoil right at the end of the last scene, before he changes his mind. That "changing his mind" shot is really important, and mostly comes down to acting. But I think it was acted well. It was a subtle ending, not too literal, and that's probably part of why it won. I think the acting was believable too. Glad I gave it a second view.
