Yes, it was a Tooth ! Thank you for the feedback. It was actually Cody's first time acting in anything, so for you to say he did pretty good is major for him... lol.Was that a tooth she was holding at the end? Regardless, it was a great reveal and I loved the reaction of Cody spitting his food out. The music, underneath that moment, was perfect!
I thought that Kasey did a really good job, especially with some of the looks she gave. Cody was pretty good, as well. I liked the music at the beginning, end, and the build up, but during the quieter moments it was kind of grating. The "Fridge" title prop looked amazing.
Thank you much for the feedback. I agree, buildup would definitely had added a bit more to the fridge tension.I like it. I think the he is in the fridge part could have had a slower build up. Perhaps one more camera angle, or a close up of the door. Camera slowly zooming in....Billy not knowing if Katie is joking or not.
Its a true love and Kasey's acting was good. Hope you make more of these experiments.
Thank you for taking the time to watch and provide feedback! Also the line when he said Chas was missing was weird. If someone is not responding I don't jump to they are "missing." If he was in fact, missing, his mood would have been a lot different. I think "He's not texting me back and I'm worried" would have been better here.
Well, sucks you didn't like it. Thanks for the feedback. All in all, it was thrown together and created to practice skill work, so I'm not totally caught off guard by your observations. I still appreciate you taking the time."The Elves and the Shoemaker" meets "Fried Green Tomatoes" ...?
I don't generally bother to watch anything labelled "horror" but I watched this - because it was one of yours! Gotta say I was a bit disappointed in this one. Acting, lighting, set and camerawork were fine but that soundtrack, so loud, and the narrative was thin and confusing. I couldn't work out who was supposed to be the main character - Billy, Katie, Chas or the Fridge? They all seem to have their own bubble, and taking any one (or two) of them out wouldn't really change the story in any way.
As for the label "horror" : given how the subjectI didn't find the "twist" particularly surprising or horrific, which left me waiting for the Fridge's magic to steal the show ... but I'm still waiting.of vengeful cannibalism is treated in movies such as Fried Green Tomatoes or Hannibal (specifically the "eat your own brains" scene),![]()
It's a compliment to expect great work out of you however. High expectations from previous work!but I watched this - because it was one of yours!
I know that you used this as a practice for a new light setup.... so that is how I judged it. But other people did not know this. This one of mine that was practising at how to work ....as a team... towards the completion of a movie.Well, sucks you didn't like it. Thanks for the feedback. All in all, it was thrown together and created to practice skill work, so I'm not totally caught off guard by your observations. I still appreciate you taking the time.
Well, I never saw myself as any good... But I'll take it! lolIt's a compliment to expect great work out of you however. High expectations from previous work!
