Yep, but I guess that's just good acting.

I wonder, Tommy dramatizing really loud in class or in a restaurant looked really weird in TDA, but maybe when Tommy did that in real life, he was just excited to be acting (like his hero James Dean), & he just hadn't gotten enough training yet to know he was overacting.
I wonder if anyone here has heard Tommy speak for a long time, like at one of his screenings or something.
Is real life Tommy actually more normal than Franco's portrayal in the movie, like these videos would suggest?

I meant real life Tommy seems a bit more normal compared to Franco's portrayal in TDA.

Maybe he thinks he could make it even with the accent, like Schwarzenneger.
He looked like he worked out a lot & he even sounds a bit like Arnold once in a while.

hehe Ya that's kinda crazy. But back then I guess it was impressive cuz it was a newer more natural acting style than what most people were doing.
