Still haven't got a zombie logline... Is there still an appetite for Brains? I get the feeling that zombies are, potentially, a popular choice so we should probably draft something for that, if only to give people the option.
 
I was going for the zombie log line, just without the word zombie..

I'm just avoiding the undead type of zombies, but if its not undead is it a zombie? What ever, Just mostly normal people with a desire for extreme violence and a need to eat flesh? Which is pretty abnormal and explains lots of crazy behavior..
 
How about:

"A debilitating flesh eating infection threatens to destroy the last remnants of the human race as people all over the globe struggle to survive and regain control of the planet."

This has to be my favorite one yet! there's so many ways to do it so I doubt anyone would have similar story lines. Would be easy to do on a small budget and still make it look good

Do we think that we have enough ideas? Or should we spend some more time canvassing before we even consider committing to one of these?

Personally I'm still enamoured with either Organ Lottery or The Cure just because, as knightly says, it has amazing potential. And I also think it's a totally un-restricting idea. The problem with The Geriatrics might be that it forces people to use elderly actors (which might not be easy), or with Going Viral is that there will be a certain amount of special effects involved. I guess there are ways of getting round these problems (not that they're major problems) but my preference is still for something that leaves it very open for interpretation.

Anyhow, I hope that if we set up a poll and ask for feedback we'll get some really useful ways that we can adapt and update these ideas until we have something that works for everyone and on lots of different levels.

I think everyone whose interested so far will be glad to move on to the details, of ANY of those..
 
I think it would be good to put up a poll/new thread just so we can make sure that we maximise all the input we can get.

Obviously it would be impractical to 100% say we'll go with the result of the poll, but it could be a useful indicator. Plus I think the intimidating length of this thread means that some people who might be interested in taking part have not given their thoughts on the ideas we've come up with or ideas of there own.

So just for the sake of thoroughly exploring all avenues I think I'll make a new thread. But after that we can start to move pretty swiftly onto the details :)
